Review content:
I was in Jacksonville on business, and ended up at the Chart House with a business associate. I agree with other reviews that it wasn't necessarily romantic. I was actually relieved... I was comfortable there with another male business partner. The decor was fascinating: sort of a round, concrete building with windows facing the river. It was sort of retro-sixties without being tacky. The menu was nice, but not overly impressive. The lobster spring rolls were good, but sort of bland. They tried to make up for that with a horseradish dip that was way too overpowering. The snapper hemingway was nice, but somewhat ""fishy."" There was a huge amount of lump crab meat on top though, and the crab was excellent. The service was great.. absolutely no complaints. They were attentive, without being overbearing. My experience with Jacksonville restaurants is limited, but I'd try it again. Pros: Atmosphere, service Cons: Somewhat pricy for the quality of food
