Review content:
We recently visited the Park Steakhouse in Park Ridge NJ and were very impressed with both the food and the service. We called early in the day and got a 7:00 pm reservation for two people. The gentlemen on the phone was very polite and looked forward to us dining at their restaurant that evening. ""Nice touch"". When we arrived at the restaurant we were sat at a lovely table behind the wine case. Our waitress introduced herself and politely asked us if we would care for a drink before dinner. The drink s arrived shortly after. The drinks were very impressive to say the least my Martini was about 10 ozs and was ice cold just like a good martini should be. My wife ordered a vodka and orange and when her drink arrived noticed that the orange juice was fresh made. The restaurant was full but felt like it was running very smoothly and all tables were looked after. More then enough staff for a busy evening. When our waitress returned she told us the specials for that evening. We both decided to have the specialty of the house the Foie Gras Crusted sea scallops and it did not disappoint us. I would highly recommend this to any one. My wife ordered a porterhouse steak and I ordered the braised Short Ribs of Beef. Her steak came out beautifully medium rare like she ordered it and it came with some crispy shoestring potatoes. My short ribs of beef were amazing they came on top of Horseradish whipped potatoes. Simply the best short ribs Ive had all year long. We weren't sure if we would order dessert but once the waitress arrived after the main course, she told us of a new dessert that was just added to the menu. So we had to try them, it was some ricotta and cinnamon zeppoles. ""To die for"" small little bite size zeppoles presented in a small paper bag along side small squeeze bottles filled with apple puree and a strawberry puree that you used to fill your own zeppole. Very cool. . All in all we were pleasantly surprised and would recommend this to all our friends
