Cobalt Bboadband does not live up to their hype. They have horrible customer service, they cannot accomodate their customers, and they did not hold up their end of a two year contract I signed with them. Despite many documented problems we had with service, their owner has refused to refund our original $250 equipment deposit. I stuck it out with them for one year hoping things would get better. When it didn't, and I got tired of paying them $41.99 for high speed internet, and getting speeds slower than dial up, I got fed up and told them I wanted out of my contract so I could go elsewhere. After arguing with the owner, who accused me of lying about my internet problems, he reluctantly agreed to refund one month of service, but not my $250. I've yet to see anything, and once again I can't get anyone to call me back. In the last email I received from the owner of Cobalt, he copied it to his attorney. I will never do business with them again. Th Pros: I can't think of anything good to say about this company. My experience was horrible. Cons: Slow Internet Speeds, Horrible Customer Service, Expensive Start up, Long Contract, Incompetant Management, Unwillingness to right their wrongs
