Review content:
My experience with Cobalt was not pleasant. Basically I threw away my $42.00 a month for over a year and had to threaten legal action in order to be released from my contract. I was plauged with problems from the beginning of my contract. And when I tried to get in touch with someone MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, they wouldn't return my phone calls. They had one competent technician. Most of the time I was told it was my router that was bad but after going without a router, the problems still existed. The service was so slow that I was unable to access the internet for months at a time. My parents dial up is faster than Cobalt. I'm happy to say that I've found another provider for my rural area but had I not, dial up would have been the better option. I was also not impressed with the owner of Cobalt. He was rude and accused me of lying in order to get out of my contract. I'm so glad to be done with this company and would go without internet for the rest of my life if Cobalt was the only other option.
Pros: None as of the end of my service.
Cons: Wasted over $400 paying for a service I never recieved. Slower than dial up, rude management, imcompetant technicians, long contract.
