Review content:
Beware of VIP Marina on Lake Travis. They charge much more for damaged props than most other boat rental businesses in Austin. Understandly, they need to charge for damaged props, particularly when the lake is low. However. most places charge between $100-$150. They charge $300 to replace an aluminum prop that costs $85!! I'm sure it's in the fine print in the rental agreement somewhere, but they were not up front about it and it's not covered in the insurance they offer you!! Also..they were major jerks about it too!! There are plenty of other boat rental places on the lake that aren't so excessive and rip you off like that!! Russ Rhea Austin, TX
