Review content:
I travel to the Portland area a few times a year on business and heard ""rave"" reviews about this place. On my first visit in May of 2007, I trudged on over and ordered a dozen of the peanut wings and 6 El Hefe and was told it would be a 15 minute wait. Nearly 40 minutes later some uber hipster with Buddy Holly framed glasses plopped down a tray of the most unappetizing wings I've seen in my life. They looked to be steamed and not fried and drowned in some weak peanut sauce. The first bite was horrible... Properly cooked wings should have a bit of a crunch to them and this was like biting into wet newspaper. I ate a few and tossed the rest in the trash. The El Hefe wings I will admit were very hot. I imagine the folks there try to hide the fact that they can't fry a wing by soaking the wings in sauce.
Pros: Closing shop would be a pro. Other than that... None.
Cons: Bad food, *very* lacksidasical service.
