My husband and I strongly recommend Red Room?s Sunday night Tapas Tour. We have gone a few times now and it is always a culinary adventure! For $15 a person, you are served a chef-selected menu consisting of eight tapas, served in four courses, not always offered on the regular menu. Chef Colin?s ideas are inspirational and an excitement to the palate. He is always willing to share some cooking tips if asked and we admire his ability to combine flavors that we had not thought of before. His clams with chorizo steamed in beer a few weeks back were incredible, as were the scallops with asparagus risotto last night. In fact, there have been very few things we?ve tried that we haven?t ?mmmm?d? and ?ahhhh?d? over! The shrimp ceviche is a MUST! The Red Room itself is beautiful and we have always been very pleased with the service. We enjoy sitting at the bar where we can watch the food being prepared and Joseph the bartender is always friendly and attentive. In response to the previous review, we did notice some changes last night. The portions were noticeably larger and there were no restrictions on the number of people required to order the tour. We recommend this to everyone we know!
Pros: Everything! The food, price, the service, the atmosphere....
