Fosselmans has a store in Alhambra, and is sold in some other places. Double Rainbow has 2 stores; one in Van Nuys, and one on Melrose in Hollywood. I would rate Double Rainbow slightly higher, and you can get it at Trader Joes..
Coldstone Creamery, Citysearch's higest rated ice cream place is pure crap and far to trandy with tgheir ""mix-ins"" compared to either.
Aromi cafe in Van Nuys is just accross the street from the coldstone creamery loaction in Van Nuys, and their gelato and sorbetto (the don't have ice cream, but gelato is close) blows away Coldstone Creamery
Pros: old fashoned place, 2nd best in LA
Cons: parking, long lines
