Landmark Ice Cream Shop 10/26/2005

Fosselman's Ice Cream has been in business for a very long time. They're a little cute ice cream shop on Main St. in Alhambra. There was a huge line inside the store, but the ice cream was so infamous, I had to try. The ice cream is very rich. I had the strawberry and my friend had the mint chocolate chip. Both were very decadent. In addition to their cones, they also have prepackaged pints. more

wow... i cannot believe a ice cream parlor like this is located in Alhambra.. They have an array of flavors to choose from.. mint chip ... taro... green tea ... to name a few.. Their prices is pretty good for the portions they give you. As you walk into fosselmans you will overwhelmed by the history and nostalgic memorabilia from the early days of their establishment.. more

Best Ice Cream in Town 9/27/2005

Fosselman's Ice Cream has some of the best and unique flavors such as Green Tea or any others not typically found at Rite-Aid. The prices are a little high but the friendliness of the workers make up for that. It may be difficult to spot at first cause one would think that it would be closer to downtown Alhambra when its actually located near the car dealerships. more

Fosselman's Ice Cream Co 9/6/2005

They have some of the greatest ice cream flavors in the world. The service is great, the prices are okay, but not cheap though. However, if you like ice cream, this is the place to be. Their ice cream is so delicious it makes you coming back for more. They have a lot of toppings too. You can add in whatever you want. The location is a little bit abandoned so passer-bys will not be able to really spot it that easily. You can just park right in front of their store and enjoy your ice cream inside! more

Best Ice Cream Store in Southern California 8/21/2005

Fosselman's is that type of ice cream store you just can't find anymore. The store has been in the family for three generations, and they still make ice cream the way they always have--with fresh ingredients including real cream, real fruit, etc. The selection is diverse with everything from Rocky Rock to Raspberry to Green Tea. If you love peaches, go there in the summer when peaches are in season--the peach ice cream is amazing. The store has an eating area or you can get it to go. more

Good Old Fashion Ice Cream 8/16/2005

Ever wondered what it was like to have fresh made, rich and creamy ice cream at a parlor or soda fountain just like in the old days. Well then head on over to Fosselman’s. This family owned establishment is an Alhambra institution. All the ice cream is made right on the premise. There are many flavors to choose from and served just the way you like it to satisfy the entire family. more

There is much old charm to Fosselman's located in Alhambra. I remember my mom taking me there are a kid to get their COLLASAL ice cream sundae. The Service is wonderful, the flavors are well done old standards with some new ones and best of all they are still affordable. more

What is there to say about this place that hasn’t? Being remembered on PBS’ California’s Gold speaks mountains for this ice cream place already. While the shop also carries candy from unbreakable jaw breakers to good old fashioned Jellybelly’s, it’s the ice cream that is the staple of this place. There are so many different flavors to choose from, all with there own unique delicious taste, you’ll be returning here for what may seem like forever. Ice cream lovers, rejoice. more

Best Ice-Cream 8/5/2005

This place has been around for a long time. They make their own ice-cream right behind the store in the back, you can even see it. They have tons of flavors, even some exotic ones like Green Tea. They also serve shakes, sundaes, and sell a variety of candy such as Jelly Beans. They offer seasonal flavors in the summer which vary. Last summers flavor was Snickers Bar, very good!!! Parking is limited, however there is street parking. Oh and they also sell pre-packed quarts and ice cream cakes as well. more
