Review content:
Recently, I came across the ""Was not happy with her services"" review of Dr. Robin Whitney of the Platte Lake Veterinary Clinic and felt compelled to express MY opinion. I was first recommended to Dr. Whitney by a friend whose opinion I hold in high esteem and I have had very positive interactions with both Dr. Whitney and Dr. Nelson over the past 10+ years. Pets are members of the family in our home and we have adopted strays or older pets with special needs. Both doctors have seen us through the life and death of 2 of our beloved pets, enduring late night phone calls and much emotion with a high degree of care, concern and professionalism. When our dog was diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Whitney followed up our visit with a phone call to give me the most difficult part of the diagnosis. I felt she did this out of concern for how upsetting it woud be to hear everything all at once on the spot and how that may impact my ability to drive home safely (taking into consideration February road conditions as well as my emotional state), as I travel from another county, even though there are plenty of closer options available for veterinary services. Based on our numerous experiences over the years, I wouldn't consider taking my pets elsewhere and would unequivocally recommend this clinic to anyone for the exceptional care of their furry friends as well as respect and concern for their owners!
Pros: professionalism, caring, follow up
