Review content:
I traveled from california up to Portland to pick up a porsche 911 that was purported to be in ""Excellent"" condition and ""doesn't need a thing"". I guess I should have been concerned when the salesman that was supposed to deliver the car wasn't at work the day I showed up (Sat). I flew up from San Jose to Portland, spend the night and then took the train out to the dealership. The guy wasn't there to meet me, and I had to take a cab to the dealership. The car looked good and seemed to run fine, so I took delivery of it. Naturally when I was about 100 miles from the dealership, the dashboard lights started going on and off as it was raining cats and dogs. The car continued to run, but as you can imagine, having 12 more hours to drive, it made me a bit nervos. Then when I got to Redding CA and it was 90+ degrees, I found out the A/C did not work. Turns out the drive belt wasn't even on the compressor. So, I ended taking the car to the local porsche dealership and $1200.00 later the problem was still not fixed, and Northwest Motor Cars was not taking responsibility. I got them to split the cost of the A/C repair and service, but that was it. If you are considering buying a car from these guys (expecially if you're traveling to get it), make sure you get it evaluated at a dealer before you arrive or have it shipped. I learned a valuable lesson, and never did get the car fixed properly. I ended up selling it for a $10K loss.
Pros: Nice looking dealership
Cons: Don't do what they promise
