Review content:
A co-worker recommended this place so I took my French food palette discerning boyfriend here on a Saturday night. The place was crowded but the owner?/host heartily seated us right away at the only remaining table. The server, equally charming, expertly rattled off the specials but was unable to tell us anything more specific about them other than that they were ""very, very good."" I ordered the white fish with lobster sauce (a special) which was light and generic accompanied by the scalloped potatoes. The potatoes tasted as if they had been boiled in water and served with nothing else. They were flat and tasteless. The boyfriend excitedly ordered the coq au vin, another special listed in the menu- apparently this is a traditional French specialty. He was disappointed by the uninspired rendition he got but reasonably enjoyed the french fries (the alternate to the scalloped potatoes). All in all, ,I would say that the food was mediocre and not worth the upper medium price range (for this type of food) that we paid. Perhaps we came on an offnight? I will say that the decor is interesting- the ceiling is painted to look like the sky with glow in the dark stars implanted in the structure.
Pros: Service
Cons: Mediocre food
