Review content:
I would disregard these negative reviews. I have been a student at this school for 18 years. I have been to China twice, Chinese Wu Shu is not the original Shaolin Martial Arts. The last Grand Master Practioner of the Fukein Temple escaped before the Shaolin monks burned the Temple before the Ch'ing Emperor Kwang Hsu could complete it's destruction. I, personally, have been received at the rebuilt Shaolin Temple and Martial Arts school in Honan by the current shaolin monks and practioners. They acknowledge that our art is the true Shaolin Ch'ang Su from before the last Ch'ing Emperor, the Boxer wars and the advent of PRCC. We have separated our Shaolin Arts from the Buddhist and Taoist religions as they have done in the PRCC. Therefore, there are be differences from the modern day Chinese Shaolin Wu Shu . The gi originally worn was not a Japanese or Korean gi. It is the original Northern Shaolin gi worn by Shaolin Practioners at the Honan Temple. This gi can be seen on the Historic Shaolin Statues in the Honan Temple. Since those years, we have switched to the gi style worn by the Southern Shaolin in the 19th century. I can understand the ""nationalistic"" distress of Chinese who come to U.S. and find the CSC. But, we have the real traditional Shaolin arts as preserved by the last Grandmaster practioner who fled China to bring the arts to a safe place where they could be preserved. He was the only Grandmaster who learned all the arts of all seven Shaolin Temples. Our current Grandmaster Sin The' brought the arts to the US in 1965 and we have schools all over the U.S.. Come to the Norcross school and I will be happy to explain in more detail. You will not find a better martial arts school with the traditional Shaolin Arts than at any of the CSC schools across GA and in other states.
