Review content:
For the people that have rated this restaurant well it is obvious that you do not know real Mexican food. The food at this place is inadequate.. I have eaten at places in Mexico and abroad but I must say in all of Salem this is perhaps the worst mexican resturant I have encountered. The service was some of the slowest I have experienced. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered a quesadilla as an appetizer and it arrived cold and unmelted. My girlfriend ordered a Beef taco that had chucks of beef in it so large she couldn't eat it. I ordered coffee and waited 20 minutes before I asked to have it refilled. Poor service and very low grade food. The one upside is their Chile Rellano. The C.R. was quite tasty and done in a jalisco style. Other than that the resturant is definitely not recommended. By the way they do not have cheddar in Mexico, that is an American thing....yuck. My grade would be a C-. Recommendations go to Los Dos Amigos or La Hacienda Real.
