Epic Imaging West has the best mammographer in Portland, Dr. Amy Thurmond. If you have a difficult breast imaging problem, she is the hands-down expert in this town. I have seen terrible mammographic misses from St. Vincent's Hospital, OHSU, and others which Dr. Thurmond was able to correctly assess, to the immense benefit of the women involved. Do not trust your mammographic, ultrasonographic or breast MR imaging to anyone but Dr. Thurmond. She is the BEST! I am a radiologist who quit western medicine because of all of the dishonesty, money-grubbing, and missed diagnoses. I've seen the underbelly of western medicine, and it is motivated by money and male egos. Those who have ears, listen.
Pros: Dr. Amy Thurmond is by far the BEST breast imaging expert in PORTLAND!
Cons: When you go to the best, there are no cons.
