Epic Imaging West has the best mammographer in Portland, Dr. Amy Thurmond. If you have a difficult breast imaging problem, she is the hands-down expert in this town. I have seen terrible mammographic misses from St. Vincent's Hospital, OHSU, and others which Dr. Thurmond was able to correctly assess, to the immense benefit of the women involved. Do not trust your mammographic, ultrasonographic or breast MR imaging to anyone but Dr. Thurmond. She is the BEST! I am a radiologist who quit western medicine because of all of the dishonesty, money-grubbing, and missed diagnoses.
