Review content:
A group of us went there based on Greg Cox's review in the N&O. There were 8 of us, and we went on Wednesday night just before 7:00 PM. Not everyone in the group had gotten there when the first 5 of us placed our orders. To be fair, the staff was trying to ensure that our meals all came out at the same time, but we still waited a good 30 minutes for our food. What we got was bland-tasting greasy food with too much batter. I don't think the oil was hot enough to cook in. The fench fries were soggy and cold, as was my friend's veggie burger. The mushy peas had no flavor except for he lard that was used in them. All in all, this was probably the worst meals I've had in a long time.
