Review content:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Seasons 52 for the first time. It was quite crowded for 8 PM on a week night, however, they were able to quickly accomodate us. I found the service to be top notch and it exceeded what I've experienced in far more expensive establishments. They have a massive wine menu (they actually have two...depending on the $$ you want to spend). One of the things that impressed me most about this restaurant was the fact that their offerings vary widely in price. This was true not only for the wine, but also for the appetizer selections. Our flat bread appetizer was scrumtous and my salmon was perfect. I really liked the unique vegetable offering available with entrees (on the night I was there, it was a roasted Bosch pear, french cut green beans, and a cranberry chutney). Be sure to save room for desert. Their deserts are very small and a great individual portion size (excellent for those on a diet who are always trying to find someone to 'share' with them). If you're hungry from more, you can have more than one (they have about 10 different types of desert availalbe) Servers use PDA's to communicate orders to the kithen. My server told me that she could even tell me the nutritional content of any item on the menu. I didn't bother to find out, but thought it was cool to have the option. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and am looking forward to returning again soon. Pros: wide variety of wine and food offerings Cons: its probably a good idea to make a reservation
