A close friend of mine gave me a birthday gift certificate to Mellie and I used it toward a hair cut + style last weekend. I had an incredibly pleasant experience from the moment I was greeted by the front desk staff (James?) The salon is absolutely simple, with nice, yet very beautiful decorations and ambiance. I would not have imagined a hip, cool place like this existed in the suburds. What a treat! The haircut with Kerry was excellent and I truly enjoyed the entire experience. She was professional, sweet, obviously highly skilled, and polite. I highly recommend Mellie Salon if you are looking for a special place for hair styling with a positive vibe.
