It all depends on which realtor you get. I found an apartment that I liked and contacted the realtor. She was friendly but extremely casual. The unit was a two bedroom first floor unit. Another unit on the second floor was also available which was the same floorplan but also included the attic which had two additional rooms. My roommate and I weren't interested in 4 rooms, so we focused on the two bedroom. We felt the apartment was overpriced and tried to negotiate a lower rental price. Our relator must have failed negotiation school because the price did not budge at all and she insisted that it was a good apartment for the price and to sign the lease before it was taken by someone else.
