Businiess name:  Jamaican Jerk Hut
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
The Jamaican Jerk Hut is a magnificently unique experience. Their food is excellent, with all of the sauces simmered to bring out their richly complex blend of spices. The brown stew chicken is one of the best dishes Ive had in the city. The jerk chicken is also, as advertised, the house specialty and well worth the risk. However, not all of the dishes are explosively spicy; just ask your server for a slightly less intense recommendation. From spring-fall, walk around back to the veranda, where there is outdoor dining and, on Friday and Saturday nights, live music to create a wonderful experience. Also, it is a BYO and I recommend mixing a little rum with their homemade fruit drinks. On the downside, it is understaffed, so there can be a wait. Also, while the jerk shrimp appetizer was wonderful, the platter was rather skimpy for the price. Pros: Complex flavors, hearty portions, outdoor dining
