Review content:
Alta Cucina is by far the best Italian restaurant in Johnson City. Don't bother with the chain restaurants. Everything is made from scratch. We have eaten here many times and have never had a dish we didn't like. Even the free bread, served with olive oil and fresh herbs, is to die for. The owner is there almost every time we go, and has even seated us several times. We are always greeted warmly and served well. While slightly higher than some of the chain restaurants, the prices are reasonable considering the quality, quantity, and taste of the food. For truly fresh Italian food, do not waste your time anywhere else.
