Review content:
With their interesting sense of humor, as evidenced by their graphic-splashed wall decor, and their intimate dining space, Shinju makes for a wonderful little night out. The menu items are both traditional and creative and their price point is right in line with other, less impressive, Japanese places in town. For two of us to enjoy sushi, sashimi, rolls, miso, tofu and seaweed salad, the tab came to about $50.00. VERY reasonable. The owners/sushi chefs are humble and sweet, the table service is exemplary and the place is CLEAN! Yayy for Shinju!!! One of my top five regular haunts in Philly :)
Pros: Small space, quick service, good price
Cons: Ummm... parking, I guess (if you have a car in the city)
