Review content:
This is the absolute worst gym I have ever been a member of in my entire life. The entire thing is a giant scam, but they don't care because of the very lopsided wording in the contracts, which renders you hopelessly locked into them. This is true of both the gym meberships and the personal training company operating there. As soon as you enter the door, they want to get you locked into a membership for two years, and then the trainer guy in the back office tries to lock you into a year of training on top of that. The price for all of it actually seems incredibly low, which should be your first warning sign that something isn't right. The reality is that half of those machines you see on the cardio deck don't work, and the ones that do have unreliable controls and features. The trainers are all awful, and the turnover is incredible so you will get bounced from trainer to trainer, without any control over who you work with. Other than that the place is filthy, has a sewer odor in the locker rooms, almost all the cables on the pulley machines are frayed, and their stability balls have needed to be reinflated for months. Why Carrboro keeps supporting this gym I'll never know, they don't do a thing for us. Cons: everything
