So we went to A1 tonight in Dryden, they just reopened after remodeling...we used to LOVE it! When my husband and I where engaged (7 yrs ago), we went there every day! Today though, it was horrible!!! From the conversation on the phone (to find out their hours: ""well, we're open until whenever they decide to let us leave"") to the horrible salads (how can you mess that up?! It's basically iceberg lettuce, bad tomatoes, and cheese) to the nasty pasta (overcooked, and she didn't even offer to bring me more) and cold prime rib...ugh! Also, the owner came in and bawled the workers out for smoking in the kitchen! Eww! Then when he left, the workers bad mouthed him. And we could hear all of this because part of the remodel was to open up the kitchen to the dinning room. Lastly, as we left there where three cooks and a cashier in the front parking lot smoking...ok, so don't smoke in the kitchen, do it in front of the establishment...
