I read all the bad reviews but wanted to see for myself. So after a daytime movie earlier this month I stopped in for a light meal. I didn't order anything complicated - just the soup of the day, and a half grilled cheese sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes. The entire meal was awful. I thought I had ordered tortilla chicken soup, but what I got was more like thickened potato soup that had been on the stove for a day or two. The sandwich was cold and the cheese never melted , it was just a pile of grated cheese between two slices of toast. I sent the mashed potatoes back as they were horrible! They were like a big ball of tasteless glue made from potatoes and water. I asked for french fries and you can find better fries at any McDonalds. Now don't think this mess of a meal happened because they were busy. I think we were probably the only ones in the restaurant at the time. And for some reason the waitress plopped herself down on a chair next to us for an unwanted chat. I'll never go back and expect to see a ""closed forever"" sign in the window soon. Pros: The restaurant is close to a movie theater. Cons: Apparently no one in the kitchen knows how to cook and the owner doesn't care what she serves.
