Review content:
I wanted to share my story about my experience to inform potential and current customers alike about our experience at Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital. In 1994 I bought my first pet, a Yorkshire Terrier I named Taylor. I quickly found myself in love with this puppy! After 3 weeks she began having seizures at just 10 weeks old. I worked in downtown Raleigh so I began seeing a vet in the inner beltline. We had constant follow ups and although it was convenient, I didn't feel as though they really cared about my dog. I felt rushed and unappreciated at every visit. Years later I moved and heard about Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital and even though it was quite a drive for me, I thought I would give it a try. I felt every time I took Taylor there for a checkup that Dr. Snyder treated her as if she was her own! She was so compassionate and caring toward Taylor and toward me. I couldn't believe the difference in customer appreciation and the attention I received every time I called or came into the office. She was so knowledgeable and caring at the same time. I LOVED THIS PLACE! This past Christmas Taylor became very ill. Dr. Snyder was so quick to diagnose her and advise us of our options. We knew with Taylor being 14 years old, she really didn't have any fight left in her and my husband & I decided to have her put to sleep. Even though we knew it was the correct decision, anyone who has ever been thru it understands how difficult it is. What I really wanted everyone to know was how Dr. Snyder was so unbelievably compassionate. We have three small children so I decided it would be best if I took Taylor and my husband stayed with the children. Going by myself to have my beloved pet and friend put down was overwhelming in itself. Taylor had been thru so much with me in 14 years. She was part of the family to us. Dr. Snyder was so sympathetic and understanding. She made a situation no one ever wants to deal with, tolerable. Thank you Dr. Snyder! We love you. The Weavers
