Review content:
To update fellow consumers, there was a judgment award to me in regard to the statement below. The judge did see Stonescape liable for reimbursement. I was looking for an elegant easy to clean floor, I put a down payment 4/30/11. Paying more that the others thinking I will have something no one else has. But June 29, 2011 Stonescape's workers started and consumer beware; this company does not use the current technology to sand and grind your interior floor. There are grinders and sanders with vacuums attached to avoid the massive mess. Stonescape made a huge unnecessary mess. The employees were not happy, over worked, and made many mistakes. My home had a garden hose taken inside to rinse out the grit from preparation and it damaged by walls, mud seals and kitchen cabinets. My interior dream floor has been a disaster. The final outcome was not as it was promised. I was told over and over that I would love it. There are high spots in traffic areas that are sharp to your bare feet, they will soon chip off and cause the floor to wear down quicker than necessary. And the saddest part is that Stonescape was in denial, they said their product turned out well and it was just as they wanted. I tired several times to discuss and each time I was put off or told I was being over sensitive. To prove I wasn't being oversensitive I enquired to other contractors and they all had the same say (high/low areas, runny areas, spotty areas, sealer shows roller markers, incomplete in all doorways, and there is more). My contract was for a tiled look with deco's and inlays. I didn't get a tile look or the decos and the inlays I did get-one was ruined by one of the employee's and some how one wasn't even ordered. But all along I was promised I will love it, these things are all normal and they don't care if they loose money, their goal is to make the customer happy. Well it is really ugly - there was only one person that said it looked good and that was and employee of Stonescape. So if you don't want to have your interior floor done twice, have several days of tears, and spend more than necessary I would avoid any interior work done by this company.
