If you are out in the Kemah area and have a craving for good Mexican food, try La Brisa. It's a short drive just three or four miles down Hwy 146 south from Kemah, towards Bacliff. I had the Shrimp Huatulco, which comes with rice and pico de gallo and a creamy cilantro sauce. It was absolutely delicious. I love their red salsa as well as the green, guacamole salsa that they serve with warm chips at your table. They have added a really laid-back, scenic outdoor covered patio, complete with a big-screen sports tv screen, a big bar, and decorative multi-colored lights hanging from the rafters. The mexican music playing softly in the background, really reminded me of being in Acapulco, or Cozumel. The service has picked up and improved here lately as well. Minus a couple of small waiter mistakes, we had a really super, laid-back Memorial wekeend lunch here. I consider it one of the better Mexican restaurants in the entire area of Clearlake, Seabrook, Kemah, Bacliff area. Oh, make sure to try the Queso Flameado as an appetizer or even a meal; the melted cheese dish with beef fajita meat is really incredible here. Pros: Excellent Mexican food, creative dishes, laid-back atmosphere
