Review content:
We have two standard poodles and when we?ve gone out of town in the past, we?ve always boarded at one of those daycares where you can also do overnights. It was never perfect, but it wasn?t too bad. This last time, though, it seemed there were more added charges than ever?so the real cost was almost 30% higher than what the posted price per dog would make you think. And as usual, our dogs came back kind of listless, and ""going"" everywhere in the house because they?re allowed to ""go"" anywhere there. We needed something different, so I asked around and a co-worker suggested PugetPets overnight service. I was kind of leary about having someone stay in the house. But after I talked to Ruth on the phone, discussed which of her staff would be the best match for us, met with her, then checked out references, I was pretty impressed. Ruth even arranged for a special meeting where the sitter came by and met us and met our dogs, so we could be 100% sure about her with them. I was still a little nervous when we left, but when we returned, I was amazed at how great the care had been. Our girls were happy and relaxed, not listless. The house looked terrific?the sitter had even taken the sheets off the bed she'd slept in and put them in our laundry! We?ve already booked PugetPets for our next get-away, and I?ve been telling anyone who asks just how great they are.
Pros: completely trustworthy, outstanding pet care
Cons: not a single negative about them
