Review content:
I recently bought a used car from them. About a month after having it, the oil was leaking out of the engine-about 5qts within a matter of 2-3 hours. I took it to a dealership near me, who took the engine apart and saw that the front crank and camshaft seal was severely damaged. When I called Spartan Motor Mall (because the carfax reported they had fixed this issue) they were unhelpful and would not pay for what they said they had already done. The dealership that I had taken my car to had to call with pictures and basically threaten them to pay for it. Spartan Toyota finally agreed to pay for some, but not all of the bill-they only agreed to pay for fixing the cam and crankshaft seals, not any of the other parts or labor required to fix what was damaged because it was not fixed the right time the first way. Then a couple of days ago I had a flat tire, which was no big deal. I got everything I needed out of the trunk only to realize that the tire iron was too small for the lug nuts on my car AND the spare tire only had 4 lug nut holes instead of 5, which is what is on my car. So I was stranded for hours. When I called to see why this had happened or what they could do to help me out, their response was 'If the tire iron, jack, and spare tire were not listed on the agreement you signed, then we cannot do anything to help you.' They would not even offer to exchange the incorrect spare tire for one that would fit on my car. The tires and wheels on my car are factory so either 1)They switched out the correct materials for what is in there now, or 2)They never checked to make sure the hardware with the car was correct before selling it. Considering that I drove out of town to give this dealership my business, they have done VERY little to help me after the sale.
