Review content:
My husband and I met another couple at Kabuto on the sushi side a few nights ago. This was not my first visit so I was very shocked about how the night/food turned out. I have to explain that I am NOT a sushi or even fish eater but my husband is. I usually just order a house salad and a bowl of rice. This time the friends I was with suggested the chicken rice bowl. They said they had it before and it was really good. Considering one bowl of rice is $6 and the chicken rice bowl was $7.95 I thought I would give it a try. When the waiter put it down in front of me I thought I was going to be sick right then and there. I couldn't even tell what was placed on top of the heaping pile of steamed rice. It sure did NOT look ANYTHING like chicken. Seriously I am willing to bet it was NOT chicken. As I started to pluck the pieces of mystery meat off my dish they were all hung together by tendons. It truly looked like the pieces of meat you cut off before you cook the meal. It was absolutely the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in a restaurant. My friend ordered chicken terryaki and once again, there didn't appear to be any ""chicken"" on her plate. We were both so disgusted we vowed to NEVER return there again. Our big joke of the evening was the WATER was excellent.
Pros: The water is the only good thing I had.
Cons: Mystery meat - not enough fish in my husband's sushi rolls.
