I can't tell you how much fun we had at BLT recently, on a TUESDAY night. A few celebrities at the tables - but not an ostentatious vibe - just very LA and very classy, the kind of place you'd want to show off to visitors and return to yourself whenever possible. You can do the fresh seafood bar - fresh, impeccable - near the front of the restaurant, sit outside, or settle in at one of tables, especially in the back , for a long night of guilty pleasure (aged steaks can be pricey, but are ridiculously good ). A more than worthy successor to the old Le Dome space. And by the way, our server was great, which is not always the case in new restaurants (maybe we just got lucky, but I don't think so - whoever's running the place knows what he or she is doing). Meanwhile, you'll find me at the bar nibbling on the array of free snacks whenever possible, pretending I'm as cool as this place is...
