I just moved here from Santa Barbara and have been going to the same lady for five years and was very worried to switch stylist, I went in for a haircut with James the owner of Salon Blu, He gave me the BEST and most thorough haircut I have ever had! the service was very friendly and relaxed. The staff and his assistant were so nice and took time out to talk, get to know me and my hair. James listened and made sure he did exactly what I wanted but also threw in his own expertise. this salon was so inviting, not pretentious like some high end salons. I absolutely love it, I am never going anywhere else. My hair has never felt so great and my cut is amazing! I already made my next appointment and cant wait to see how my color turns out. let me add, I also have curly hair and it is thick! he managed to cut it perfectly and his assistant even took the time to show me a new technique on how to dry my curls, with no charge and didn't make me feel like i was wasting her time even with a salon full of people! these people love their jobs and make you feel like your part of the family the minute you walk in.
Pros: wonderful cut and service
Cons: a wee bit pricey but worth every penny
