Review content:
I've always enjoyed Guaymas since the 90s, and I try to bring out of town guests there to enjoy the view of San Francisco, the outdoor dining, and the portions of food. As with any restaurant, I'm sure that it has gone through phases. However, all the times that I've been there, I've never really had problems, like the ones listed in the recent reviews. I'm not sure what dishes the people have tried to say that it's bland. The ceviche is tasty, and so is the carnitas plate. My only complaints have been with the front host/hostess. The person there always seems harried. Overall, I would recommend to try at least once, especially for those seeking an experience outside of San Francisco. Make a day trip of it by taking the Ferry in from the City, exploring the Ark shops, and then having an early dinner before heading back!
