Businiess name:  Sardines Ristorante Italiano

Review content:
More often than not, I'll choose classic over trendy. When it comes to restaurants, Sardine's is a class act that I hope will be around long after the trends are long gone. Sardine's consistently offers good Italian food in a casual, yet romantic setting with good music and good service. The dining area past the bar is dark and romantic and they play live jazz on weekends. Yes, the place is a bit cramped with the tables a bit too close together, but I found that to be rather cozy. Unlike Houston, where I currently live, Fort Worth residents are not nearly as uptight and self-entitled, so getting a little close to your fellow diner next to you isn't the worst thing in the world. The bread was good, buttery and crispy and garlicky and right out of the oven. I had the seafood risotto and my husband had the lasagna. Both excellent! The tomato sauce in the risotto was rich and tangy and had a little bit of heat for a pleasant warmth that wasn't overwhelming at all. My husband's lasagna was very good as well, with a hint of something that we couldn't quite place. The service was extremely courteous, our water glasses stayed full and we were never left waiting for wine or bread. Afterward, we left feeling almost euphoric. Could've been the wine, but it also could have been the excellent service, food, and atmosphere. I highly recommend this place, especially if you need a cozy and romantic place for a date! Pros: Food, service, music, romantic Cons: A little cramped
