My dog was extremely ill and I initially took her to another animal hospital that I had been using. I explained to them that she was lethargic and had other problems. They made me wait for 1 hour with my dog in the car while they took in their morning appointments for shots, etc. Finally, I freaked out and called my boss who referred me to Madison Vet Clinic. I took her there immediately. I brought her in the office and relayed her symptoms to the tech. They IMMEDIATELY took her from me and started an IV and gave her the necessary meds. If I had stayed and waited at the other clinic, I feel sure that she would have died. I have the utmost regard for Dr. Head and his abilities as a vet. I thank him and owe him for saving my beloved dog.
