Businiess name:  Parthenon Grille

Review content:
My husband and I use to go to the Parthenon Grille when it was in its old building. Then, the Parthenon was by far the most romantic, quiet, and intimate restaurant in Murfreesboro. The food was delicious and bursting with wonderful flavors. The service was impeccable. The whole experience in general was more personable. We loved it and always enjoyed our quiet date nights away from the kids. Now the Parthenon is in its beautiful new building, and unfortunately I would much rather go to the small, older, not nearly enough parking, hard to get out of building across the street. The Parthenon Grille lost everything but appearance when they moved. The food was bland, the service was terrible, and the whole atmosphere was different. The night we went, we were almost elbow to elbow with 3 different occupied tables. I guess their motto went to more quantity and less quality. The old Parthenon I wouldnt dream of taking a 3 year old and an infant to. The new Parthenon, well....pretty much turned into another chili's or applebee's where it wont matter if you take your kids to, due to the noise. I was not uncomfortable when my 3 year old got a bit loud. No one even noticed. Also, they actually started doing a 2 for $20??? All I can say is wow... Went to the new Parthenon twice. We havent nor wont be back.
