Review content:
I can see I'm not by myself....this was the restaurant we loved to visit for special occasions and for just a romantic night out. Quiet, soft background music, candles on the tables, sometimes a live piano... for many years this was the best in food and ambiance. Perhaps the happy hour crowd has made up the difference in revenue, but the new structure, while attractive, is cold to the touch. The noise level is beyond conversation (could be the cold stone floors contribute) and it seems to have reached the food also. While the food still had a familiar aura, it lacked the combined flavor and feel of the old place. Even though it came hot to the table, it seemed a little cold.... to go from unique to vanilla is so sad. Goodbye Old Parthenon....hello to another O'Charleys.
