With all due deference to the experience of the previous reviewer, I must say Pacific's Edge has made our list of one of the best restaurants in the United States. We stayed in Carmel over the Holidays and had the usual ""nice enough"" dinners at Bouchee, etc., but Pacific's Edge was off the charts. I am a straight food person when I rate a restaurant, so I wasn't swayed by the beautiful setting (BTW, it's a crime this place doesn't serve lunch with the Ocean right outside). With that, the service was the best we had all week in Carmel.
