The problem started a few months ago. They told me i needed an ECM (i am honestly still not clear on what it was, however, i remember the bill was around $1500). I got it back and about a week later the engine light came back on. I did not bring the car back immediately and thats my bad. I happened to be in the area about a week ago and decided to stop by and get it checked. They told me it was the 02 sensor and temperature guage. This would be a $500 repair. He told me for a ""couple hundred dollars less"" i could get the fuse box on my battery changed because it ""might be throwing the CEL codes."" I agreed to do it and he told me the light was off. I got into my car and the light was on. I took it back immediately and the mechanic told me that i could have the 02 sensor changed at the same price discussed before. I took the car home and changed the 02 sensor myself for $52.00 and then changed the temperature guage sender for $12.99. The light is off and the temperature guage works. The service person yelled that i should not threaten him when i said i would report it to the better business bureau. I have been looking at reviews that i wish i would have looked at before and i can see there is a pattern.
