The new management are money grubbers, raising rent every time you renew when they where Harbour Club they would keep it reasonable and give residents free golf and rent credits when you renew but not Providence. I moved to a two bedroom in 2009 after meeting my Wife and have had multiple problems with the management, maintenance, and poor construction of the complex. We had our roof encounter a water leak through the exhaust fan in the kitchen. We called about that and nobody showed until a month later they poorly and temporarily fixed the problem only to have it start leaking again a couple months later. When we moved in they said there was a laundry room in the basement, there is not, in fact its just a room with mold and mildew and graffiti on the walls. And the washer in dryer in our apartment is so small you can only wash maybe two outfits at a time, and you have to run the dryer forever to get anything dry. We have a mold problem due to an air leak on the outer part of the building from a construction defect. I calmly called the office and made them aware of the problem and was told maintenance would be over within a couple days. Then a week had passed I called back again still calm mind you and they apologized and said they would send someone right away. Two more days passed and I called again by this point my Wife and 9 month old daughter were developing nose and throat problems due to the mold, so I was starting to get ticked off I was told someone would come that day. Nobody showed. So the next day I stormed in the office with pictures of the mold and had to yell at them to get anything done about it, they had maintenance come right over and remove the mold. They still have not fixed the air leak outside due to a gap between the wall and upper part of the roof so mold continues to develop. The windows and door walls are extremely outdated and drafty the metal framing develops mold due to the condensation. The radiant heat in the ceilings is horrible it makes your electric bill ridiculous. The hallways constantly smell like the hash bash is going on you get a contact buzz just getting to your unit, and if you read the other reviews on (apartment ratings) website you will see that a lot of people have had the weed smell in there buildings along with suspicion of drug dealing going on which wouldn't surprise me the least with the low lives who live around here as well as the same problems I've encountered. We called about the weed smell and nothing was ever done about it they just don't seem to care who lives here as long as you pay them with the money you earn dealing drugs it's apparently okay. The number of car thefts around here is crazy as well as the amount of storage room thefts, they take bolt cutters to your lock and pillage everything in your storage cage, I was smart enough not to leave anything valuable in there but my dining table was stolen along with a 12"" sub woofer that didn't work. We've also had a lot of minor problems to many to mention and all we're NOT taken care of promptly and all taken care of poorly only to have the problem arise again. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere my Wife and I are moving out this summer to a house. The rent is too much and the apartment is extremely outdated from the old ugly wood cabinets, to the nasty broken tiles, the ugly old school wood doors and poorly painted rooms with cracks in the drywall and paint chipping all over to the hillbilly rigged plumbing. I can't stress enough how much these apartments suck! Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live, the people who post good reviews are probably drug dealing crack addicts who love living here cause nothing is ever done about them smoking drugs and breaking into the vehicles in the parking lot.
