Review content:
My daughter purchased a dog from this breeder. I went out to meet her after our pup came home because I wanted to see the Mom&Dad. I have never gotten a dog without seeing the parents & thought this was so strange that she didnt see them. Rene said that the Mom would lose her milk if we saw her and the Dad was not there. I totally fell for this as she was so nice and chatty. She told me to bring our pup back for his shots. We did, then things got wierd. My daughter took him out there & a very weird woman was there, she grabbed the pup from her to give him a shot. He bit her and she yelled at my daughter. She was shocked and said that the dog had never bitten anyone. Apparently Rene came running down the stairs, took him, gave him his shot. For the next shot my daughter wanted me to go with her. I did, Rene was there and everything seemed ok. A few minutes into the visit this lady showed up,so did several men. I was appauled when I saw this lady and even more so when she spoke. Rene had some very wishy washy stuff go on at her house. She also told me 3 or 4 different birthdates for our dog&we never did get the papers that we paid extra for. Rene talked poorly of her ""friend"", but they were always together & seemed very close. Rene also at one point told me that my dog was not purebred which was why she couldnt not give me the papers, but than back tracked once i asked if we could have our money for the papers back. I can tell her concern was money, not the dogs. Weve had our dog for a few years & I have not contacted her again& she hasnt contacted me. The vet we chose thinks poorly of her, &he has a genetic problem with his lungs- we have him on the proper meds. Sure, we love our dog, but we certainly would NEVER go back! To everyone claiming peoples true stories are lies - think again - you may have had a good experience, thats great but many havent & its not right. These are living animals, not used cars.
Pros: nice and chatty
Cons: too wishy washy, i believe theres more to it that we'll ever know
