I would give this place zero stars if I could, but I guess I can't. I bought my first chihuahua from kitty (who also goes by kit and kat and who else knows what, but I think her real name is Marjorie Chinneth--although someone else on this blog said Sundberg--who knows?) who happens to be a partner of Renee's. Her house reeked, the floors were soaked, there were so many dogs, we were only allowed right in the front door, and no further. I asked to see the mom and dad, but I was told no, they were outside and would be upset if I met them (what?). I fell in love with my little one anyway and bought him (I'm glad I did, he may have been sick, he may have some psychological issues stemming from his early puppyhood (he sure isn't like my second dog who came from the mose awesome breeder!) and he may also have genetic issues that we battle with, but dang it, I love the little creature more than life itself!). However, i supported what is probably the largest puppy mill in the state and I also encouraged someone who mistreats animals to only breed and mistreat more animals. Great. And I call myself and animal lover. I don't even eat meat. But look what I did? I wonder how many more countless dogs had to suffer because of what I did? And in case this didn't cross your mind yet--good breeders only breed ONE type of dog--maybe two, and they only have a few litters a year. they also don't need to advertise their puppies in newspapers, craigs list, etc. because they have waiting lists for their puppies. For some of the best breeders, you have to wait a year or so to get a puppy! So if you see ads everywhere, buyer beware.
Pros: My dog is darn cute.
Cons: sick, psychologically scarred dogs, puppy mill, abusive upbringing, bad enviro, bad partner
