Review content:
Last year I bought a puppy from Renee. After driving over an hour to Wags & Wiggles, no one answered the door for 45 minutes, but I was entertained by the 10 or so puppies in the dog run in front of her house. After looking for some time, I decided on a Pom/Maltese mix puppy. He was inside when I saw him, when I asked her why, she told me she brings the pups in to socialize and give them individual attention. WHAT A LIE! Seven weeks later we found out that he was indoors and seperated from the other puppies because he was very ill, had kennel cough, ear mites and runny stool! To this day, he doesn't bark - he cries an erie, baby like cry instead. I bought him as a mother's day gift, my mom cried when she had to give him back to me! My sweet mom kept the puppies problems a secret from me until August. So a month after I bought him, I decided to get a puppy for myself- without knowledge of the first puppies extensive problems I headed back out to Wags & Wiggles. When I got there it was like a circus, so many people were out 'to buy a puppy' (a great tactic to create a sense of urgency) I don't believe they were all customers. I found an incredibly cute and very expensive little guy and bought him before anyone else could. Since that day, he has cost us over $1500 in vet fees. Every problem under the sun associated with puppy mill breeding! So FYI: she sedates the dogs that have temperment issues and gives Karo Syrup to the lethargic ones, she gives completely inaccurate information on birthdays and sometimes breed mixes (my mom's old dog isn't really a pom/maltese mix - more like a LAB mix and still growing!) She provides a 48 hour return policy, but won't show dogs until Saturday morning so you miss your window. Bad deal all the way around. Pros: Pretty drive out to her house Cons: Puppy Mill, Sick Animals, Expensive Animals, Inaccurate/falsified information
