Review content:
Ok we went with our family of five to see ""Barnyard"". A rated ""G"" movie. Thought this would be a good family movie. Safe for our preschoolers to view and have quality family time. The actual movie was great but as the previews and commercials came on we quickly found out they do not care what commercials they show to ALL audiences. Within the course of three minutes our little guys saw a Nuclear bomb go off with a man with two small children trying to survive (Jericho) followed by the next scene of a woman getting undressed and climbing into bed with a man..followed by them breaking out there breifcases full of tons of guns and going to rob banks (Smith I think?) I couldn't tell you the rest because I was up and out of my seat to speak with the manager after that. I mean really I pay $60 to take my family to a nice family movie and instead have to spend hours explaining s ex, war, and bank robbery to my children for the rest of the night. The manager informed me ""Well they are all commercials for regular TV shows so we just assume they are fine for everyone."" Oh yeah I am going to let me four year old stay up until 10pm to watch a bank robbery show or a war show. Come on! For the money I spent for a G movie..I expect G commercials! They can do so much better than this. Very disappointed and will be asking what the commercials are for sure next time we go..if we go.
Pros: Nice clean theater
Cons: They play "R" commercials in "G" movies
