Review content:
I bought two jeans and a suit from the Galleria and clerk recommended that I take these items to Allure for alterations. I spent close to $900.00 total for these items and mentioned it in passing to person working the store. I told her that I would be flying back to New York in seven (7) days and needed the suit for a function the next day. The jeans needed to be hemmed. To my surprise, all the items were ready the next day and the hems were consistent. Suit fitted nicely. The problem was that she wanted to charge me $450.00 for the alterations. I thought that was a bit high and she mentioned that her workers had to work overnight and around the clock to get my clothes ready. Feeling guilty, I gave up arguing about the bill and saw some tired faces on the seamstress in the back area. Anyways, I had tailored jeans and a suit to wear while I was in Houston and will proudly take it home with me back to New York. Honestly, I was hoping the charges would be more reasonable. Pros: very detailed work, fast Cons: customer service skills lacked a bit
