Review content:
I remember the first Crossroads Trading company which opened up in San Jose. I instantly loved this store because it had nice, authentic, seventies clothes in pretty good quality. The store has definitely changed from what it was. Now, they look at your tags to see the date/season of the clothes, and they look for a designer label. I think they get a bit out of control sometimes with their pickiness, especially if you trade and see some of the shabby things they have on their racks. Nevertheless, I do enjoy Crossroads because you can get good designer jeans and basic classics, like Levis for sometimes more than 1/2 off the original price in a department store. I enjoy the Santa Monica store and Melrose is nice too, but too packed. The Ventura store is nice and small with really cute stuff. But, there will never be a one like the San Jose store...
Pros: Good selection of clothes, Some good designers, some funky finds
Cons: Small, Picky label monger sales assistants, hard to sift through the tight racks
