Having eaten out a lot, I have to say that Mazzi is one of the better restaurants I've been to in the Huntington area. The menu has a pretty wide selection that anyone should be able to choose from. The chef does a great filet mignon and can actually cook it to your preference (medium-rare, medium, well-done) unlike so many other chefs. As for appetizers, the beet and pear salads are fantastic starters and in my opinion you can't go wrong with either of them. Excellent wine menu and cocktails. If you choose to sit at the bar you can count on interesting conversation with the regulars or you can have an intimate dinner at one of the more private tables. Mazzi is a great place to dine for all sorts of occassions. Pros: great menu Cons: usually need reservations- particularly in fall/winter/spring
