Review content:
My experience with WBD hasn't been a great one but hasn't necessarily been horrible either. I was looking for a particular designer - St. Patrick, a Pronovias line - and WBD was the only salon that carried them. I first tried on dresses in July 2008 for my May wedding. I loved all the St. Patrick and Pronovias hip-hugging gowns, but as an average size 12 woman, I could not fit in their size 6 and size 8 sample gowns. They did not have a single gown in a size larger than 8 in these designers. Not everyone is model thin! I wanted to cry. I went back a second time to try to find something else with my mom and narrowed my search down to two dresses that I didn't love but would work so I returned a third time with my bridesmaids to pick my gown. WBD charged me a $50 fee since this was my third visit...and of course did NOT tell me before I showed up that I would be expected to pay this. But of course, it would be deducted from the price of the gown. I ended up purchasing my gown that day and was promised the dress would arrive in December 2008 or January 2009.
Pros: Large selection
Cons: Sample sizes, fees
